My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Greetings! My name is Socks. I was running around town one day when some lady called the police on me.
They picked me up and took me to the dog pound. It's not the nicest place.
So, no one came to claim me.
The pound guy called the Rescue Woman and she came to get me.

I like it here , I play with Sweetness, who is my next-door kennel neighbor.
I really would love to have my own family to play with and be their dog.
Everyone here wants to have their own family but some of them can't go.

Thank you for considering me.
Love,

Socks

More about this rescue

We are a small group of comitted volunteers with a common goal to aleviate the suffering of homeless, abused and unwanted animals.
We rescue out of the kill shelter. We rescue dumped and abandoned dogs and cats and we rescue animals left behind when their owners move.
There are so many needy animals in this area that we are battling against tremendous odds.
We welcome help of any kind. We need fosters desperately. We need transporters, help with socializing dogs. Donations welcome. We always need help to buy supplies, pay for boarding, etc.
