My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Huckleberry, the sweetest guy ever! Huck is a shelter pup, estimated to be about 8 years young. Bright-eyed and bushy-tailed, Huck is always up for an adventure. He loves car rides, long walks and enjoys meeting new people. Huck has a bit of a wonky gait. He has been diagnosed with a luxating patella, which our vet believes he has lived with most of his life, but it doesn’t slow him down a bit.

Huck has been the perfect houseguest in foster care. He is house-trained, no counter surfing, no barking, no chewing, no separation anxiety. He loves cuddles and belly rubs and hanging out with his people (unless they are vacuuming, then he will wait outside thank you). Huck would be the perfect addition to a quiet home looking to add some golden love.

While Huck loves his walks, he has proven to be reactive to other dogs he sees on leash. For this reason he should really be your one and only. Gentle and sweet, Huck is all about people and loves everyone he meets…dogs, not so much.

Huck has not been tested with children but his sweet and gentle nature lends us to believe he will be fine. He does not jump up, paw or beg. He has not been tested with cats.
