Here's what the humans have to say about me:
.Chloe is a 2.5 yr old spayed female mixed breed. She is incredibly smart and LOVES learning new tricks! She excels at obedience work and does best with reward-based training methods. She was rescued from the streets of Texas and became so accustomed to living in survival mode that she unfortunately can not live with another animal. Although she does great playing with other dogs in a neutral setting she guards food, toys, and affection from other animals (cats included) once she is comfortable in a home. She wants allll the attention and good stuff to herself. Can ya blame her? She also does best with guidance and structure in the home. We have started her on a training regimen which she loves and we would gladly teach her new adopters. Every time she learns a new trick she gets so excited, she starts racing around and doing zoomies. She is so proud of herself, it is the cutest thing. She walks beautiful on leash using a transitional leash- she is house trained and not destructive in a home. She is also crate trained. She is nervous of new people, more so of men. It is vital that she go into a home that fosters confidence in her. She has already built a lot of confidence with the daily training sessions and we would like to see that continued in her new home. If you would like to foster or adopt Chloe, please reach out. Being she needs a home without other pets, we will need all the help we can get to find her home. And she has too much love to give to be stuck in a kennel for months on end. !
