My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello, my name is Jake and I’m a happy bouncy baby boy. I love to play with my chew toys especially the squeaky ones. I wrestle all day with my sister Julie and new foster dog family. I usually win! I’m learning to walk on a leash and some basic commands. My potty training is going very well. During the day, I get to run around with my sister Julie. I’m very vocal when I play rough, and I sleep very well in my crate at night. I love my down time as well and can be very affectionate. I just got neutered on 7/10/23 and since I’m still a baby, all I do is sleep, play, eat and poop. My foster family tell me that I’m a handsome baby boy and I’ll find my forever home soon.

Please note: Puppies will only be adopted to a home with a preexisting adult dog, no children under age five, no unfenced pools, and where the puppy will not be home alone for long hours. Do not fill out an application for a puppy if you do not meet ALL requirements. Your application will be immediately denied and will not be processed.

More about this rescue

NorCal Boxer Rescue provides a temporary sanctuary for Boxers in need throughout California. Boxers come to us from shelters and from owners who are no longer able to care for them. We provide these animals with veterinary care, spay/neuter surgeries, vaccinations, a microchip, a temporary foster home at a private residence, lots of love, and placement into a carefully screened home forever.

NCBR is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that is run entirely by a dedicated group of volunteers who have an unmatched love for preserving this wonderful breed. If you have a heart for animals, we invite you get involved in whatever capacity you can.
