Did you know that quasars are amongst the most luminous things in the universe? Well I can assure you that I'm just as bright! I'm a smart boy who is still learning about the world around me. You see, I've been in the shelter my entire life and because of that I haven't been exposed to as many things as some other dogs. But that doesn't stop me from being the best pup I can be! I love attention once I feel comfortable around you and I absolutely adore other dogs! I can be a little shy around new people, but with some time and snacks I'll be your friend in no time! Some of my favorite things are food, toys, and other dogs! I'm quite the good looking pup if I might say so myself. Some of the volunteers feel that I resemble a shepherd without the large size. I promise I will fill the hole in your life and be your universe! I'm not just the star in your show, I'm your whole galaxy!

More about this shelter
The Animal Defense League was established in 1934 by a group of individuals, “for the prevention of cruelty to animals; to promote kind and humane treatment of animals; and to aid and assist the enforcement of laws enacted for the prevention of animal cruelty.”
In 1961, ADL moved to its present location in the easily accessible northeast part of San Antonio. Its campus encompasses more than 12 acres and includes a two-acre pet park. On the property is an Adoption Center with a small retail store, and a separate 5,000 square-foot Clinic which houses our veterinary hospital that provides onsite spay/neuter surgery, surgery for injured and ill animals, and ongoing medical care for all ADL resident animals.
