My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Honey! She is a 8 year old Schnauzer/Poodle mix, she’s a Schnoodle!!! Poor Honey has had a very rough life. When she was turned in to the shelter she was covered in foxtails. They were everywhere, imbedded in her skin, in her ears, and even her eyes! She had a corneal ulcer when we rescued her. We have come to find out that Honey is mostly blind. Her impaired vision doesn’t stop her from getting around though. She is very capable of navigating her foster home in just a few days. She can even make it outside to go potty and do her business. Honey is also hard of hearing, so you have to speak loudly when you’re trying to get her attention. She is likely hard of hearing because she has suffered from untreated ear infections most of her life. We told you she had a rough life but please don’t feel sorry for her, she certainly doesn’t feel sorry for herself! She is enjoying this new pampered life! She loves to snuggle up and lay on her foster moms lap in the evening and watch tv. She loves to lay in the sun in the grass during the day. Her foster mom says Honey is the easiest foster she has ever had and you can’t help but love her the minute you meet her! Her fur will grow out (she was shaved down due to the fox tails) and she has the softest hair ever! She feels like silk! She will have the most luxurious coat when it grows in!
Honey has a clean bill of health. She is a very sweet girl, that doesn’t need a lot to make her happy. She just wants a soft bed, a warm lap and down good food and she will be happy! She isn’t a barker, she is crate trained, housebroken and just the chillest girl you could ever meet! Our adoptions are restricted to residents within 30 miles of the South Bay area of Los Angeles. We do not ship animals or do long distance adoptions. See our adoption policies for more details on our adoption process. If you are interested in adopting one of our available pups, please complete an adoption application. You can find the application at: https://noahs-bark.org/adoption-application. We will arrange a meet and greet with the pet with approved applications only.
