My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lucky- shorthair white spotted tabby (male.)

Nicknamed "Lucky Leo, he is a very sweet and timid boy.

You will be in love with the first snuggle!

He loves to be scooped up and snuggled in your arms, where he will remain for hours. His favorite companion at his foster home is a sassy senior female cat he follows most of the day. He does well with other cats (right now, he lives with five other cats, two dogs and three children). He is still cautious of the dogs but is slowly warming up to them from a distance.

His favorite person in his foster home is a 16-year-old boy, who loves to sleep on his bed in the sun when playing games in his room.

Since we are a foster-based rescue, viewing our animals online to find one that you are interested is best. Once you have found an animal you would like to adopt, complete the application by visiting our website at: hhsanimals.org and clicking on the animals picture. We will review it and forward to the animal's foster and have them contact you to go over the next steps.
Our adoption fees are:

Dogs and puppies = $175 + tax
Cats and kittens = $105 + tax

Adoption fees for purebred animals and out-of-state adoptions will be different than those listed above.

These fees include all age appropriate vaccinations, microchipping, and spay/neuter. We have discounted adoption fees for senior citizens and senior animals.

SInce the vast majority of our animals are kept in foster homes, it's best to contact us at: info@hhsanimals.org to inquire about meeting an animal. You can also visit some of our available pets at one of our weekly adoption events at either the Petsmart or Petco stores near Bandera Rd and 1604 in far NW San Antonio on Saturday's from 12:00-3:00.
