What is Rehome?
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
We are looking to rehome our beautiful 8 year old female dog, Luna. Based on her looks and behavior traits, we believe she is a border collie mix, but we have never DNA tested her so we can’t confirm her breed.
We have had Luna since she was 12 weeks old. She is a loyal, energetic, very smart and loving dog. She has been the greatest companion to my wife and I over the years. We are heartbroken to need to rehome her, but unfortunately she hasn’t adjusted well to our son since having him about 2 years ago and we can’t risk something bad happening between them.
Luna is up to date with all her shots and has no known health concerns. She would do well with someone who has the time and patience to continue to train her and give her the opportunity to be active every day. A home without other dogs or children would be best.
Luna is a part of our family and is so deeply loved. I hope we can find her a home that will love and care for her as we always have.
