Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Tallulah
Sept 16
Tallulah is a sweet little girl found living under the hood of one of our volunteer's car with 2 other kittens. She was able to rescue one and get it adopted, sadly she doesn't know what happened to the second one. This one, the third, was observed limping on it's hind quarters but resolved but that resolved in 2 weeks. The kitten was resisting the trap, but the volunteer grew more and more concerned as the kitten was still living under the hood of her car even with her offering constant food and water, she just could not get Tallulah to come to her. She would see Tallulah leave the car at daylight, then return after dark.
Fast forward 3-4 months and as our volunteer continued trying, she saw other feral cats beating up on Tallulah so she doubled her efforts. Our volunteer started playing with a flirt pole, progressed to tossing treats and finally offering churu droplets on her finger. She was finally able to touch the kitten six days ago, and it's quickly progressing to full body pets. Tallulah is still shy and cautious but usually approaches when called. She can be picked up now, and petted.
Tallulah lives in Montgomery, Alabama. Transportation arrangements will be considered if we find the perfect home for this brave little one.
