Patches is a big, sweet, long hair tabby. He was a neighbor supported “Community Cat” until he injured his foot and was taken into a foster home to received medical care. During the process of healing, he has become quite friendly with his care givers. It's become obvious that he's doing well as a house cat and shouldn't be released to fend for himself as a Community Cat.
He enjoys playing with his toys.
He's fine with our small quiet dog.
He'll sit right next to us on the couch but hasn't figured out how to be a lap cat at this point.
He's shy around people he doesn't know. Especially men.
He's still getting use to household noises.
He'd probably do best in a house without kids.
He's around 6 years old.
He's been neutered, and has his Rabies vaccine. Per Dr Herded at Creature Comforts Veterinary Hospital in Oakland, he doesn't need any other vaccines because he has survived without them, during his period outside and has natural immunities.
