Oona spent 10 months in a California shelter when we saw her plea for help on social media. We had to give this girl a chance and she is so worth it. Very sweet dog!
- 51lbs, 3 years old
- Possibly a German Shepherd/Husky mix
- Loves all people and is happy and kind with everyone
- Good with other dogs and was kenneled with a male dog her size at the shelter for the full 8 months they were there. She would love a dog friend in her future home!
- No cats
- Nice house manners
- Medium energy, not super high energy
- Knows sit. Very food motivated and eager to train with you!
- Hops into the car for car rides and does well
- Not leash reactive
- Good with her potty habits
- Has been around kids but young, active kids tend to spook her with loud sudden noises. So likely kids ages 8+ would be best.
Oona is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, heartworm tested negative, and current on flea/tick/heartworm prevention. Her adoption fee includes a free wellness exam in Oregon City, Portland, Milwaukie or Tualatin.

All of our dogs are in foster homes that help them to learn to be good house guests. Our foster dogs thrive in a home environment rather than a scary shelter where they would become stressed. Plus we gain lots of good information about the dog's personalities in a foster home setting.
All foster homes are located within 45 minutes of Portland, Oregon. Once we receive your adoption application and chat with you, we will provide you the foster home's contact information that has the dog you're interested in meeting.
