My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ezra transferred to us from Orange County Animal Services earlier this year. When he first came to us he was very shy and somewhat scruffy, but with good nutrition and lots of TLC in his foster home he has blossomed into a joyful and energetic rabbit.

Ezra has a shiny dark brown coat and big brown eyes. He is a very curious bun and wants to get into anything he can. He is also an accomplished jumper and will require a top over his pen (a sheet and clothespins work great) as he can easily jump out. One of his favorite pastimes is to jump up on the bed and do zoomies! Ezra loves food, to the point where he will honk with disapproval if his meal is late, or if he suspects that treats are being withheld. He is fond of his humans and especially likes to be scratched on his head and around/behind his ears. He does not appear to be a fan of cats, but he very likely would welcome a bunny friend. This friendly, lively bun is ready to find his forever home.

Our Adoption Fee/Donation for a single rabbit is $100, a pair is $170, and a triple is $200. This helps to offset the cost of having the rabbits altered, microchipped and vaccinated, as well as any medical care that may have been required.

For those that want to bond a new rabbit with an existing rabbit, we conduct bonding events where the home rabbit can meet several rabbits to find a potential match. We work with the adopting family to help ensure that the rabbits bond. We take back the adoptive rabbit if there is not a match.

Our adoption agreement specifies that we will take any adopted rabbit back, should the home situation change in the future.

From time-to-time, we conduct adoption events where you can meet multiple rabbits. Because of RHDV2, these events have been paused.

We believe that pet rabbits are family members and should be housed indoors, should be fed a healthy diet, should be spayed or neutered, and should receive quality medical care.
