ADOPTION FEE: $625. Must live close in to RI
This supports all rescue dogs for vetting, foods and whatever they need.
We are all volunteers.
COOPER is a 2 year old mix terrier male neutered, 18 lbs. and up to date on vaccines. WE ARE JUST STARTING HIS SEARCH ON OCT. 9 SO HURRY GET YOUR APPLICATION TO US. He is super sweet but very shy at first. When he warms up to you he will stay right by your side and be a great companion. Leadership and training will help you achieve this. Cooper loves toys and loves to play with you. He has never been alone, so we don't know how he will be if left alone all day so that is a concern for us so we hope you will have a plan if you don't work from home ( please explain on application). He has been at his foster home in Arkansas with many dogs his size and smaller and gets along fine. He will be in Rhode Island for meetings October 13 and we hope to choose people for those meetings as soon as we see appropriate applications.
WE ARE NOT SENDING HIM TO NY, NH, or the nearby islands of Ma., or upper NE.
OUR PROCEDURE: We will choose the dog's possible family as soon as we see a match. We will phone you and further discuss . The dog will be in Rhode Island for a meet and greet. Please realize, it is our goal to get the dogs into the right homes as soon as possible and no shows are not good for the dogs and other serious dog families.
If you can provide a FABULOUS home please file our free application (see link above) and tell us why we should let you adopt our wonderful rescue. The more you tell us the better picture we have of the home you can provide for our rescue
Once we have reviewed your application and think it is a match we will notify you. Please understand that as these dogs are fostered we do get to know them and have a good idea of their forever home. We do save applications, but you may put multiple names on on e application. If you have already applied in the past, then please send us a message with your name and what dog you are now interested in being considered for and we will pull off the server. We do not choose by a first come first serve basis. So if the dog is still up on the site, consider the dog AVAILABLE. We do take down quickly when adopted. If you don't see any information you need to know, we probably don't have an answer....like cats...idk...
