My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

River is a 17 month old male Newfypoo (Newfydoodle). He is extremely social, very good with kids and other dogs. He would do best in a home with multiple dogs and people with lots of time to spend with him. He will also do best with a large yard or land. He won’t be ok with a small yard or apartment, people that are gone a lot, or as an only dog. He does great with our cats, he does occasionally chase them if he is feeling super bored but absolutely wouldn’t ever hurt them. He cuddles with them and anyone else that will cuddle with him.

He has a huge heart to match his big body. Such a sweet and gentle soul, he lets our one year old climb all over him. He does get very excitable when he sees new friends to meet and can be a stubborn listener in those moments, but has had extensive training and is extremely smart and well behaved in general.

Unfortunately we have some serious health issues going on and can’t get him the attention and exercise he needs anymore.
