My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Thank you for interested in adopting Jamie. Please know that Jamie is an international rescue. When your application is approved, you will need to pick her up from the airport - such as SFO, LAX, ONT, IAH, YVR, YYZ, etc. International adoption is not a complicated process and we've done the process many years. We would be happy to explain to you how the process works.

Jamie was found in an open area near Pitou Township in Changhua County. There is a morning market during the day and a night market at night. Her usual food source depended on the kitchen waste left by the market there and the occasional feeding of local kind-hearted residents
Nearby residents said that Jamie was picked up and raised for a while soon after she was born, and then thrown back to her original place when she grew up. The bad thing was that the stray dogs that have settled nearby didn’t accept Jamie’s return. Poor Jamie was chased by other dogs but she still didn’t want to leave. She chose to stay in that area and wait for her master to appear and pick her up again. But what she didn’t know was that her master had abandoned her and would not appear again.
The rescuer had found that there were two black dogs in Jamie’s position earlier. According to speculation, the two black dogs should be Jamie’s siblings. Because one of them was hit by a car, the rescuer really couldn’t bear the loss of her life. At that time, she decided to bring the remaining one back for resettlement and the little girl has successfully be adopted soon.
This time, the rescuer heard that Jamie’s life in this area was so hard. It is so difficult for her to get enough food every day. In addition, she had to be driven away by other dogs every day. Therefore, the rescuer made her mind to take this poor girl back for resettlement and now Jamie is ready for adoption.

Jamie is a dog with confidence. When she meets people she knows, she loves having her belly rubbed. She happily flops on her back, tongue lolling and tail wagging as she awaits tummy scratches. When strangers or kids approach her, as long as the movement is not too big, she will observe first and then take the initiative to get close to them. She can be so affectionate with people in a short time.
The way to interact with other dogs is that no matter how big or small the dog is, she will take the initiative to get close. The only thing she is nervous and afraid of is that when the other dog barks loudly, she will start to get nervous.
The way to interact with cats is to take the initiative to get close to them. She likes to take the initiative to play with cats, and she will attract the attention of cats by barking. It doesn’t matter if she’s beaten by a cat when interacting.
At present, the things she likes doing are playing with humans, eating treats, and going out for a walk. So far, we haven’t found anything that Jamie doesn’t like. The only thing she doesn’t like is the loud barking of other dogs.
Her behavior of chewing objects does sometimes occur. A long as you find her chewing on objects, stop her immediately. She will stop. Usually, as long as she is given a toy, she can kill time and have fun by herself.
She has no food guarding behavior towards humans or dogs. When she is eating, her food can be touched at will. She won’t be angry about this.
Jamie is both indoor and outdoor potty trained. She can do both well. Jamie is a dog without separation anxiety. She will bark when she is excited, but as long as she is asked not to bark, she will stop barking.
Whether she’s bathing, cutting nails or clearing ears, she is obedient and behaves so well. It’s just that she doesn’t like the loud noise made by pet blower dryer. Her performance is not so good when she’s blown, but on the whole, she can still reluctantly cooperate and be obedient.
Jamie is good and obedient when he goes out for a walk. When she walks on the leash, she will not rush and there is no action to break free from the collar and the leash. She is indeed a great companion when walking. Jamie is such a good and adorable girl. If you like Jamie after watching all the introductions, photos and videos, take her home. Let her become a member of your family.
