My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Riley needs rehomed because his owner (my mom) is moving into a memory care center due to Alzheimer's Disease. The center is out of state near me. Mom is heartbroken that she must leave her pets. We found Riley as a kitten under the neighbor’s bush late one night after coming home from the Iowa State Fair. He never left! He's 11 yrs. young and a pretty mellow dude. Favorite hobbies - eating, napping, lounging, and eating again! Yes, he could stand to lose a bit of weight! Riley needs to be indoor-only going forward because he is declawed. Riley has lived with a variety of other pets in his past.
His buddy is Jinx - please look for his profile as well. Jinx is an black DSH, NM, healthy, 13 yrs., declawed with a similar profile to Riley. Jinx moved over Mom's house from her neighbors with all in agreement that this was a better fit. Jinx is also good with other pets. He is confident and chill, and seems to look after Riley, like a big brother.
