How anyone could surrender this beautiful young girl to the shelter is beyond us. She was dropped off with her sister as just young puppies. Ella then found herself facing euthanasia because she was scared and shut down in the stressful shelter environment. We couldn't let that be the end of her story, and we welcomed her into the rescue with open arms.
Since being in our care, Ella has blossomed into an always-excited-to-see-us, affection- and attention-seeking girl who loves to play and adores her people. Instead of a tucked, nervous tail, she is always full on body wiggles and wags. She can still be a sweet and sensitive soul, though, and it may (or may not!) take her a brief moment to feel comfortable with you. Once she loves you, though, you're guaranteed to be her best friend forever. And from there, Ella is a typical two year old pup who loves to play! She'll play-bow at people (and dogs), and then sprints around the room whenever someone accepts her invite because she can't contain her excitement. It's absolutely adorable!
Ella's perfect home would include a yard to play in, no young children, and possibly a very calm respectful male dog. She thrives with her training, and we would love to see her go to a home willing to keep that up for her. Her adoption fee includes her completed veterinary exams, vaccines, microchip and spay, and we will include an in-home session with our trainer so her new family can learn her commands as well.
