What is Rehome?
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
URGENT: NEED TO REHOME BY MAY 5TH! I found Cat when he was about 2 years old after he was left behind by a family that moved out of state. What struck me immediately was his size (he's a big fella, 20 lbs.) and how friendly he was. He takes a while to warm up to new people and surroundings. Once he's comfortable, Cat can either be very calm or very playful, and always curious. He likes to roam freely around the home with few restrictions, and while sometimes stubborn, he can be trained. He loves to sit next to you on the couch or lay at your feet in bed. Unfortunately after about 3 and a half years, he has moved into a new home where a family member is suffering an allergic reaction. I think Cat will do best with an experienced pet owner, possibly in a multi-cat home.
