My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Macie is a happy pup with a big smile and kind heart. She has grown up with her family and has helped them welcome 3 babies in the world! She's been wonderful with all three kids (now ages 2.5 through 4.5). Macie isn't one for fetch, but she does love to play tug of war and go on moderate walks. Macie also likes being near her humans most of the time, and can usually be found on the floor around them. She also has a fur sister that she's lived with for 7 years. Unfortunately, her fur sister has some health problems and has grown intolerant of having Macie around. Therefore, Macie is seeking a new home where she can be loved for years to come.

Once submitted, the foster will contact you to tell you more, and to arrange a meeting! The adoption fee for all of our dogs is $250.00, which includes their vaccinations and spay/neuter.

Macie is participating in the DFW Rescue Me Guest Dog Program, so custody and ongoing care are provided by the foster, not by DFWRM.

Adoption fee for dogs is $250. We required an adoption application and check both vet references and pet deposits / breed restrictions if they apply. We also do a home check prior to all adoptions.

Dogs can be met at our adoptions events, at their foster homes, or the boarding facility where they are staying. They can also be met during the home visit.

More about this rescue

Our goal is to save dogs at the local shelters in the Dallas \ Fort Worth Metroplex from euthanasia and adopt them to the public. We spay / neuter these dogs as well as provide all necessary medical care. We also educate the public about responsible pet ownership. We love dogs and our goal is to reduce / eliminate euthanisias being done in this area by shelters due to overcrowding.
