Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Fergie is a sweet 11 year old lemon colored Beagle. His owner is moving into assisted living and can no longer care for him.
Fergie is fostered with a family where he has been very easy to live with. He is housebroken, crate trained, good with cats (he is fostered with three), enjoys playing with other dogs, and is good with older children. He would likely be fine with young children, but he has not been tested with them. He travels well in the car and is well behaved at the vet.
He is quite spry for his age and enjoys leashed walks and playing at the dog park. In the house, he settles down quickly. He likes to sleep on the couch or in his crate. While sometimes shy with new people, he quickly warms up and comes over to be pet or given a treat.
Fergie is a friendly, loving companion who would do well in a home with adults who are looking for a dog with moderate energy needs but still has some spunk.
