My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I'm a 6 mth old male lab mix puppy. I was found by the animal shelter with a broken leg that was literally just flopping around not even connected anymore, and I was extremely skinny and malnourished. Highway Hounds took me to the vet and they said that with the extent of my injuries that I must have been beaten with a bat. At that point we thought for sure that we would have to amputate my leg. But I'm a fighter. And I pulled through. And with all 4 legs! But even through all this I'm still the sweetest boy. Love to snuggle. I get along with dogs, cats, and kids. I'm crate trained, potty trained and knows the dog door. I'm ready for my forever home

More about this rescue

There is a crisis going on. Too many back yard breeders and people not spaying/neutering their pets. We are here to help these poor animals that have been let down by the irresponsible owners. We either adopt them out or get them transported up north where they have stricter laws about pets
