Meet Winston, a delightful 5-year-old Teddy Roosevelt Rat Terrier, neutered and weighing 18 lbs of pure joy.

Recently, Winston spent two weeks with a trainer to learn how to be the best citizen he can be! He did awesome because he loves people! And picks up on commands very quickly. Winston is extremely food motivated and gets along fine with cats, and would really like to be the only pup in the house. He is energetic but does settle down and chill. Great at snuggling too!

His foster mom lovingly calls him a "chonky boi," which he believes means he's incredibly charming and handsome. Winston has a friendly nature and considers everyone his friend; he has never met a stranger. Playing with toys brings him immense delight, and he often entertains himself by tossing a ball around. He's also fond of following you around and staying close by. However, at night, Winston willingly goes to his crate and sleeps like a well-behaved pup.
