Meet Sarge,

Sarge is a loving young black cat who loves to be around others. A very companionable guy, Sarge will often follow you around to spend time with you. He is obsessed with pets and head rubs and will often follow your hand and nudge you for affection. He gets very zesty with catnip and has a blast rolling around in it!

This handsome man was rescued from the street and although he has acclimated to home life, Sarge can still get spooked by sudden movements, or rope toys that are thrown in his direction, therefore Sarge will thrive best in a quieter home atmosphere with older children and adults. Sarge has been busy making cat friends in his current foster home and truly enjoys their companionship. He will need to be adopted into a home that has another playful, resident cat to hang out and be best friends with.

Sarge is a sweet boy that is a fan of being by your side, on your lap, or nearby to make sure you don't get lonely. He expresses his affection for you through gentle love bites, but it’s important to note that when he becomes overly excited his bites can be a bit firm..

He's a huge fan of wet food and dry food but is still figuring out what it means to have cat treats. Sarge is also an excellent biscuit baker, whether it be on your comfiest blanket or in the air. He has a playful side and loves to chase around his toys or even his tail!

You will be emailed a link to our online adoption contract. Simply fill it out online to transfer ownership from the rescue to you!

Once you complete the online application using the below link, you will be able to discuss and ask questions directly to the foster parent. We believe this is a big advantage to you as our organization is completely foster based, we really understand our cats personalities at a deep level. This helps to ensure a great match with you and your family.

Completing our online application does not commit you to adopt from our rescue. Rather it helps us to understand your requirements and match you with the best possible cat or kitten.

Once you complete the application and it is approved, we can set up a meet and greet and if all works out, you may bring the kittens or cats home the same day. Please make sure to bring an adequately sized pet carrier with you to your meet and greet. We recommend a pet carrier which opens from the top as this is the easiest way to place a cat inside a carrier. If you do decide to adopt, we do expect you to take home your cat the same day as there are so many cats and kittens which need to be rescued from high kill shelters, we almost always rescue a new cat or kitten the very next day. If it is not possible for you to take your cat or kitten home the same day, we do charge a boarding fee of $10 per day for supplies and to encourage you to take your newly adopted cat home. We will board for a maximum of 3 days if needed to allow you time to get needed supplies.

Our adoption fees are listed at the link below. This fee includes full vetting, flea treatment, de-worming, spay surgery, FeLV and FIV test, microchip insertion, and vaccinations up to date for the kittens or cats age. We are able to PayPal or most major credit cards for the adoption fee.
