Meet Monte!

Monte is a 2 year old French bulldog who came to us as an owner surrender. He loves playing with other dogs, hiking, and giving kisses! He’s friendly with other dogs and loves people.

Monte would make the perfect companion for someone who loves being active. He enjoys meeting new people and dogs, is a great walker (non reactive to other dogs/people, No pulling), and enjoys hiking, playing fetch, and going on runs.

Unfortunately, Monte has behavioral struggles so we are looking for a unique adopter. He has a bite history, so we will not place Monte in a home with children (no exceptions). Monte’s bites were related to anxiety around resources, so a strict management and training plan is critical to his success. We are looking for an adopter to continue working with a force free trainer and/or veterinary behaviorist, as well as continue his behavior meds.

Monte’s potential adopter will understand that he will need to be managed for the rest of his life and is committed to his training.

Please do not apply if you are simply looking for a cuddly French bulldog- Monte is much more than that!
