This is Teddy - the sweetest little teddy bear and the goodest boy! He is approximately 3-4 years old, and just under 50lbs with metabolismto die for! He is really smart, really sweet and while he has plenty of energy the thing he loves most in the world is to sit and cuddle with you on the sofa or on a super soft blankie on the bed. He has the best nose in the world - I mean THE BEST - don’t even think of hiding a snack anywhere! He will find it! We are swamped with fosters so we haven’t been able to give him much training, but anything we do try - he gets RIGHT AWAY! He also has been with us for about a year- he is getting depressed- he has to spend so much of his day in a crate - and frankly - so much of his life has been in a shelter, a crate or a tiny kennel. While he is very respectful of bigger dogs; sometimes he can play a little rough - probably just because he has been cooped up for so long. However, I think he would be best as an only dog
He would need to have children as old as teens - maybe younger if they have been brought up around bulky breeds. It’s really just because he jumps (sooo high) and that can knock little ones over. No cats. He has a strong prey drive so if you have issues with pests - well no more!
He really is the sweetest little guy - and he is so anxious to prove his worth to anyone who will look and listen. He is pittie and a little bit of hound in there - and again, they are the best dogs. He can pull while walking but does VERY WELL when one uses a gentle leader. We really love this little guy and if we didn’t have a dog who simply does not want to share the spotlight, we would keep him. Right now we are so swamped with so many fosters, he is getting less and less attention. He really deserves a great home.
