Brief bio: The original owner of Kamara was a Vietnam Vet who passed away from cancer, leaving six dogs. She had no living relatives and a friend of hers contacted us. We went to the home and transported all six back to our rescue. The lady took in Kamara as a former breeder dog. As a breeder dog, they are typically very scared and timid and Kamara is no exception. We wrote her bio to explain everything about her and she was adopted on 12/10/2022. In her bio and in every bio we write, we explain that we never guarantee that any dog is housetrained but she was returned to us on 9/22/2023 explaining that they could not housetrain her. Breeder dogs may never housetrain because they only know a small wire cage for breeding. In any case, just to make sure there is no medical issue, we are sending her to our vet for a urinalysis, a dental and heartworm test. Everything else is up to date. We will have more information soon.
NOT TAKING APPLICATIONS: Many dogs, particularly breeder, hoarder or senior dogs, can have multiple medical issues that need addressed. Additionally, sometimes we take in young puppies requiring multiple vaccinations and/or quarantining. In this particular case, we are not yet taking applications either due to age or possible illness or some other reason. We will post when s(he) is ready for adoption. In the interest of fairness, EARLY application submissions will NOT be considered. Please note… we cannot respond to messages/emails, etc., on dogs that are NOT yet available for adoption. Please wait until the dog is available for adoption.
