My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Waiting over 500 days
Meet Gabby, the unique and charming bully mix who's been patiently waiting for her forever home. Gabby is a fascinating blend of 72% American Pit Bull Terrier, 15% German Shepherd, and 13% Boxer - talk about a winning combination!
From her Pitty side, Gabby inherited a bit of stubbornness, which makes her like a curious toddler, always testing boundaries. But don't worry, her Boxer playfulness and German Shepherd smarts make her an incredible and fascinating companion! Gabby absolutely adores water! She loves to swim, and having a pool to splash around in would be a dream come true for her.
Gabby's journey hasn't been easy; she's been in multiple shelters for over 500 days combined. But we know she just needs the right person to bring out the best in her. To thrive, Gabby requires consistency, and she's been doing great in foster homes. She's seeking an alpha owner who can provide structure and guidance, or even give her a job to do. With the right leader, she'll blossom into the most loyal and loving companion you could ask for.
Gabby had the privilege of working closely and undergoing board and train with Chris at Walk n Roll K9. She lived harmoniously with other dogs and even a cat, proving she has the potential to be a wonderful family member. While Gabby is a true delight, we're seeking an adult-only home for her. No kids, as she thrives best in a calm and predictable environment.
Are you the special person who can give Gabby the loving and structured home she needs? She's fun, loving, and always ready for any adventure that comes her way. Gabby will keep you on your toes and fill your life with joy and excitement. Help us get this long-time resident out of the shelter and into a loving forever home.

Additional adoption info

Our goal is to find a good match for both the pet and the adopter. In order to help you find the most appropriate pet for your household, we ask you to complete a short survey about your home and lifestyle. We also request that all human members of your family meet the pet as possible. It's important that your new pet is compatible with all the people and pets in your house and we do our best to determine the adoptable pet's ability to adjust to your lifestyle. We evaluate each adoption on a case-by-case basis and may ask you to visit us several times to meet with the dog or cat prior to completing the adoption. The fees depend on the pet you adopt.
