My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Waldo is a Courtesy Listing and is not housed at the Animal Shelter. Please note that the City of Bloomington Animal Care & Control accepts no responsibility for this pet. Potential adopters are responsible for communicating directly with the pet's guardian. Waldo loves playing with toys, going for walks or rides in the car. He also plays well with other medium/large dogs. Waldo does like to pester our cat, but she tells him to back off and most of the time he gets the memo. Waldo is fixed and is up to date on his shots. Waldo is full of energy and needs space to be able to stretch his legs and run. Waldo has been around children ages 7-12. If you are interested in Waldo, please call or text 812-968-5630. ***Please ignore the Apply to Adopt button for this pet & contact the owner directly***

Additional adoption info

Please come in and visit with our pets available for adoption. Once you find an animal you would like to adopt, you will be asked to fill out an adoption survey and meet with an adoption counselor. We do require landlord approval and we do not adopt out animals to live completely outside. Our adoption fees are $75 for dogs and cats under 5 years old and $55 for those 5 years and older.

More about this shelter

The shelter has very active volunteer and foster programs. Volunteers walk dogs and help with cat care. Fosters take young, shy and injured animals into their homes to prepare them for adoption. Learn more on our website and consider getting involved today!
