Meet Amelia! This big sweetheart came to the shelter as a stray on 9/17/23, but was never reclaimed. As you can see, her skin has surely seen better days, but she is being treated and will look good as new in no time! Amelia is estimated to be 6 years old and weighs 66 pounds. We are a nonprofit private animal shelter with government contract for animal control. We house over 3,000 animals each year and are able to find homes, rescues or fosters for more than 90% of those animals.
