Misty, a DSH female brown Tabby, was rescued by GFCC with her family. She was born on April 13, 2023, and now lives in a foster home with 3 foster feline brothers and a small senior family dog.
Hi, my name is Misty, and I'm a beautiful, playful cat who loves to play with string toys, chase laser lights, and bounce around with spring toys. I'm a bit shy, so I would do best in a quiet home with older children who will give me the attention and love I deserve and a feline who wouldn't mind if I tag along... I love to follow my foster brothers around the house and see what adventures they're up to, and I always make sure to be the first one at my food bowl when it's time to eat. I'm a bit particular about my water, and I like to drink it by dipping my paw into the water bowl and then licking my paw. I love chin and head scratches from my foster mom ... I love to sit on the tree house with my foster brothers and watch the squirrels and birds in the garden, and when it's time to rest, I love to nap on the bed or under the bed, where it's nice and cozy. Once I am awake I look for my foster brothers to see what adventures they're up too.

Georgina Feral Cat Committee was formed to address the community cat issue in the Town of Georgina. We practice Trap Neuter Return and any kittens are brought into foster homes to be tamed up for adoption. Ferals are returned to their colonies after they have been spay/neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. They are fed daily, provided with warm winter shelters and monitored for health
