My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello there! My name is Beatrice or Bea for short. I have had quite the ride the last few months. I was found in pretty rough shape and some nice people help me get back on my feet. From there I came to Minnesota! I am still learning how to dog but all I really want is a safe place to call home and a family to love. My current foster home has other dogs and I do well with them but id be very happy with a quiet home as well. I'm a playful girl who just needs a little time to settle in. I can't wait to meet you!

Additional adoption info

Northern Lakes Rescue wants to make adopting your next pet the best experience you have in adopting a pet. When you see a animal you are interested in we encourage you either email us at info@northernlakesrescue.org with what dog you are interested in.

We require all of our volunteers to respond with 48 hours to all email inquiries regarding adoptions.

All adoptions will require an application, home visit, personal and vet references and a meet and greet. Our adoption fees range from $300-400 depending on the dog.
All dogs over 6 months of age will be spay/neutered, vaccinated to age and micro-chipped. Puppies being adopted will require a spay/neuter and vaccine contract.

Finalizing an adoption will include a contract that you will sign and payment of your adoption fee.

Go meet their pets

Northern Lakes Rescue is foster based so all dogs are being fostered by amazing volunteers, because of this we require all meet and greets to be scheduled after an application is submitted.

Our focus after you apply is to get you scheduled to meet the dog within 3 to 7 days.
