My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Armani, the canine comedian of the shelter! This playful pup has a knack for mischief. One day, he managed to escape his backyard to chase a squirrel, only to find himself in a doggy day spa! After a relaxing bath and a pedicure, Armani was ready to return home, but alas, he forgot the way! His misadventure landed him here, at our shelter. Despite his goofiness, Armani is a loyal friend who loves to play. He`s best suited for a home with another large, energetic dog, but no cats or small dogs, please. He`s ready to fill your home with laughter and boundless energy. Adopt Armani, and let the fun begin!

More about this shelter

We are an open admissions shelter, meaning we take in homeless animals regardless of age, breed, health, temperament or lack of space. On average, we take in about 5,500 stray, surrendered and abandoned animals per year including dogs, cats, small mammals, birds and reptiles. We provide adoption services to find safe, happy homes for these pets; and also provide low-cost vaccination and microchip clinics to help safeguard them against illness or being lost forever.
