Mama
Mama is a very obedient girl. On sleepovers she is discovering that people can actually be kind, loving, and safe. She was mistreated in her past. Mama was nervous when first going on leash walks. Walking with another dog helped her gain confidence and she now is a great walking companion. She is a smart lady who understands many basic commands, including "stay" "sit" and "down." She does well when left alone, gated in her own little area. She is a playgroup rockstar and has many doggie friends here at APA!

Step one:

Step two:
Using the provided contact form here or on the APA! website, you can send an inquiry on the animal(s) you are interested in.

Step three:
Our adoption team will connect you to the foster home or someone at the shelter location where the animal is currently living to learn more about the animal and potentially set up a visit!

Step four:
After meeting the animal you would like to adopt, instructions for completing the adoption paperwork, scheduling an appointment, and picking up your new family member will be shared with you!
