Meet Nitro! If you're looking for a playful, active, mischievous, cuddly dog, Nitro's the best furry friend for you!

Nitro is house trained and is happy to report back limited accidents, and he's very good at becoming friends with other dogs. Nitro is the perfect walking buddy-he rarely pulls, barks, or does anything other than explore. If you have a chew stick, Nitro will walk right up to you and cuddle you in an attempt to bribe you for it!

Nitro also has some of the best zoomies his foster's have ever seen. He loves doing figure eights through their backyard at top speed. Nitro would definitely do best in a more active home, he is very energetic and needs multiple walks a day and really enjoys his weekly hikes.

He thrives on consistency and would do best with someone who has a set schedule so that he knows exactly how his day will go. Take Nitro home today!

Step two:
Using the provided contact form here or on the APA! website, you can send an inquiry on the animal(s) you are interested in.

Step three:
Our adoption team will connect you to the foster home or someone at the shelter location where the animal is currently living to learn more about the animal and potentially set up a visit!

Step four:
After meeting the animal you would like to adopt, instructions for completing the adoption paperwork, scheduling an appointment, and picking up your new family member will be shared with you!
