My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My Dearest Potential Family,
My name is Yucca, and I am a playful soul filled with love and affection. It is with a heavy heart that I reach out to you from the confines of this shelter, where I have spent nearly 800 days yearning for a place to call my own. In my time here, I have watched countless days blur together, each one filled with the same longing and despair. While the shelter staff do their best to care for me, nothing compares to the warmth of a loving home and the touch of a kind hand. While I long to run and play, I can't help but be selective with other dogs, searching for companions who will understand and appreciate my unique quirks.
I am desperate to leave the confines of this shelter and find a forever home where I can truly be myself. Where I can run free beneath the open sky, basking in the warmth of the sun and the love of my family. Please, I beg of you, do not let my days continue here. Time is of the essence, and with each passing day, my hope dims just a little more. Take me into your home and your heart, and together, we can embark on a journey of love, laughter, and endless joy.
With all the love in my weary heart,
Yucca
