Toasty is a beautiful female piggy looking for a home of her own. This little lady was dropped off at animal control and she was very pregnant. Toasty was sent off to foster care where she had 3 babies. Her two sons have already been adopted and her daughter is still available. She is a very sweet and social girl who has loved being in foster care. She will often "popcorn" around the cage and make plenty of squeaks to get our attention. She loves meal time, especially when lettuce is involved. Toasty came to us after being found as a stray. Since Toasty was a stray, we do not know her exact age, but we do think she is between 1-2 years old. Toasty would love to join a home with another female piggy looking for a friend.

Guinea pigs are active, gentle, relatively low maintenance pets that love companionship, delight in cuddles and make great pets for gentle children six years old and up. Guinea pigs are happiest when they have a clean cage and lots of interactive socialization time with their person. They do require fresh hay and greens (lettuce, parsley, basil, etc.) on a daily basis and adopters should consider this expense when adding a guinea pig to their family.
