Here's what the humans have to say about me:
🐾 Meet Oscar, the lovable 1 and a half year old Basset Hound on the lookout for his forever home! Oscar is a true socialite, with a heart as big as his ears. He’s an animal enthusiast, always eager to make new friends. He is used to cats, dogs, poultry, pigs, and horses. Whether it’s playtime with kids, joining in with other pups, or showering affection on people, Oscar’s joy knows no bounds.
Oscar already has a good grasp of basic commands both on and off leash, but he’s hoping to fine-tune his off-leash recall skills with a bit more practice. He’s a smart boy who knows “sit,” “down,” and “here.” And when it comes to adventure, he’s your go-to companion, especially if it involves a fun ride in a golf cart.
This charming Basset Hound is a peacekeeper in the animal kingdom, getting along famously with cats and other friendly dogs. Just keep in mind that Oscar has a chatty side and might express himself vocally from time to time. He’s also working on his jumping habit, but with some training and patience, he’s sure to improve.
If you’re searching for a social, playful, and affectionate four-legged friend, Oscar could be the perfect match for your family. Don’t miss your chance to adopt this endearing Basset Hound with a heart of gold! 🐶❤️
**Oscar is neutered and ready for adoption. He is vaccinated, microchipped and doing very well in his foster home. If you are out of state and he requires transport then his adoption fee is $600. He is ready to find his family to complete his transformation. If our sweet boy sounds like a perfect match for your family, please email us at pawhuggers@gmail.com for more information or to complete an adoption application please go to www.pawhuggers.org, hover over the Adoptables tab and then click on Adoption Application.
