My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Little Miss Sassy is ready for her new home. She is a “lovely fun girl” in the words of her foster mom.

Sassy certainly lives up to her name. She is an active Corgi that loves to help her human partner in whatever task they have chosen to do. She is the epitome of the term “Velcro dog.” She loves to play with other dogs. Tag and steal are her favorite games. And, if left up to her, there is no other owner of anything that squeaks. She wants all of them now!

Although she doesn’t defecate in the house, she will urinate if there is food involved around any other dog standing in her way of owning all the treats, so crating her if there are other dogs present during food distribution is the way to go. We all have a little quirk.

She is an extremely busy girl, very smart and willing to go or do anything. She loves to jump in your lap and snuggle for a spell but watch out if you stay too long! She will insist that you get up and do something. She also likes to cuddle while you are watching the game.

Sassy is six years old and acts like a teenager. She is up-to-date on vaccines, microchipped, and spayed. We adopt only in the greater St. Louis area. A fenced yard is required. An electric fence is not acceptable. Please email claireelizabeth@petssecondchance.org to make an inquiry about Sassy.
