Meet Duffy! This sweet guy has had a tough go in life, but he doesn't let that stop him! Duffy is a goofy and playful guy who is looking for his forever home. He has inactive distemper, so he has an endearing little twitch that he will most likely have for life. Once you meet Duffy, it's hard to not fall in love with him immediately, and once he gets to know you, he'll feel the same. His people are his people for life; once you're in- you're in, and he'd love nothing more than to cuddle up with you on the couch with some squeaky toys. He definitely is a star in playgroup, meaning he has the potential to live with a well matched dog friend! This sweet boy would love nothing more than a loving home to spend his time in. Step one:
Browse our available animals online. Our website has more details on every animal, including any known history with dogs, cats, and kids, as well as individual adoption fees. Visit https://www.austinpetsalive.org/adopt

Step two:
Using the provided contact form here or on the APA! website, you can send an inquiry on the animal(s) you are interested in.

Step three:
Our adoption team will connect you to the foster home or someone at the shelter location where the animal is currently living to learn more about the animal and potentially set up a visit!

Step four:
After meeting the animal you would like to adopt, instructions for completing the adoption paperwork, scheduling an appointment, and picking up your new family member will be shared with you!
