MEET SOPHIE

Sophie is a big softie. She’s a Great Pyrenees mix who is about a year old and ready to start a new chapter. She might take her time getting to know you but once she does, you’ll have a friend for life. She would love nothing more than to be with her people wherever they go. Sophie is a sensitive soul, so she needs a light touch when it comes to training, but she’s eager to please and smart as can be. With some patience and positive reinforcement, training her should be a breeze. She’s already housetrained, as well as spayed, and up to date on her vaccinations. Sophie has gotten into trouble chasing livestock and chickens, so despite her livestock guarding lineage she would do best in a home without those temptations. A good secure yard is also a must as she’s been known to take off on a walk-a-bout. Sophie is not good with cats and can be food aggressive around other dogs, so ideally, Sophie would do best in a home where she can be the only pet – and get all the love! Are you ready to make a friend for life?  Start the adoption process by filling out an application at www.beartoothhumane.org/adopt or call 406-446-3500 for additional details.
