Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Demi is a precious girl. Her ideal home would be one where she can get out her energy, be loved, and taken care of whether it be with a home where she has a dog playmate, an active older child, or an adult that is willing to interact and play with her, she definitely needs this kind of attention. A fenced in yard would be fantastic because she will need room to run. Someone that is also patient with her because she does pull on a leash when she is excited, and jumps up for love and occasionally playing. We are working with her on all these things. She takes treats very gently. She is not overly affectionate, but she loves to be around people. She will get on the couch and lay with you. She only pulls on a leash when she is excited. She loves petting and belly rubs in the morning. She has never met a stranger and loves everyone. She has done well meeting kids of all ages, but I do suggest older kids in the home because she can accidentally knock a small one over or jump on them out of excitement when playing and trying to get a toy. My nine year old has a blast playing with her and even if she was a couple years younger she would probably be fine. It just depends on how big the child and if they can take her playfulness and understand how to interact with her correctly. Age: 1 year Weight: 41 lbs Vetting: Up-to-date on vaccines, spayed and heartworm negative Temperament: Great with kids and other dogs. Training: House trained, has not needed crating.
