My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Everest, Male, Husky/Australian Shepherd, 4 years old, 45 lbs.

Everest has all the joyful exuberance of the Husky and the quick-to-learn ability of the Aussie. He even has the uniqueness of being a bobtailed Husky. This boy is a whole lot of fun!

There is no shortage of doggy head tilts from Everest. He is always trying to understand what the humans are going on about. He is very expressive and quite sensitive. Everest is one easy-to-read dog, even without a tail to help.

As affectionate and gentle as Everest is with all the people he knows, he does best when new people just ignore him. A quiet home without a lot of comings and goings is Everestโ€™s ideal.

Everest is a happy-go-lucky boy. He is energetic, not hyper, and does have an off switch. Everest is very gentle when playing and is easy to calm if he starts to amp up. He absolutely loves his belly rubbed and will give hugs and kisses when asked.

Even though Everest plays gently with people, he is a bit full-on in play with other dogs. We donโ€™t know for sure how he is with cats. An only pet home would be ideal. Everest came from a home with children, but we think a home with adults only is best.

Being a sensitive soul, Everest is quite obedient and willing to learn. He loves going for walks and is good on both a short and a long lead. His recall is also good, but a fenced area is needed as his Husky desire to run may override his recall.

Everest is the ideal fella for Husky-experienced people. You canโ€™t ask for a more devoted, loving, and happy pup.

Everest has been neutered, microchipped, and his vaccinations are up to date. The adoption fee for Everest is $500.00.

We do not ship our dogs.
