Here's what the humans have to say about me:
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.
Zelig came back to Catsnap when his person who adopted him had serious health issues. He is a big, long-legged chunk of a cat who loves attention! He will plop right next to you wanting butt scratches and ear rubs. He has been fostered with a young active dog, and tolerated the initial chasing stage quite well. He also chose to lie next to the dog when she was calm. He tolerates other cats but does not seem to need them. He prefers humans. He would be fine as an only cat. His foster says " Zelig is such a sweetheart! He found his litter box immediately on his own. He's used his box without fail. He's smart and has opened kitchen cabinet doors, as well as all of the doors under bathroom sinks. He's slept on the bed near my feet every night. He loves to be petted but is not clingy or needy. He gets on my lap and drapes his upper body over the armrest. He's been playful, chasing 2 toys in particular. A long, multicolored string toy and a Cat Dancer (the wire thing with cardboard twists on the end that bounces all over). He can really jump! He's just a very sweet guy."
Thank you for your interest in a CATsNAP cat or kitten!
We do not have a walk-in facility; most of our cats are in foster homes. For this reason, we require an approved application on file before we set up a meet and greet.
Completing an online application does not obligate you to adopt! We care deeply about our cats and want the best match for all involved.
All CATsNAP cats and kittens are:
Vaccination against Panleukopenia (Distemper), Rhinotracheitis, and Calicivirus
Vaccination against Rabies (if animal is over 4 months of age)
Testing for Feline Leukemia (FeLV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV)
Initial de-worming, flea, and ear mite treatment
Sterilization of the animal prior to adoption; no exceptions
