My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

**ROXIE HAS BEEN ADOPTED!!** Meet Roxie, an adorable, precious, affectionate pooch looking for a family. Pal's Place rescued Roxie from an overburdened animal control facility in rural Kentucky. Not much is known of Roxie's past, but she is estimated to be between 3-5 years of age and weighs 35 pounds, a fantastic medium size! Her breed mix is unknown but judging by appearance and characteristics, we think she may have some Spaniel and Australian Shepherd in her family tree. Roxie is an easy-going, social, mild-mannered girl who we think will fit into most homes easily. She loves making new friends and bonds quickly and closely with people. Roxie loves Nylabones, long walks, and cuddles. She is a great mix of energy and is happy to run, walk, and play for as long as you'd like, but is also just as content lounging at the feet or in the lap of her humans. She is being fostered with several other dogs and gets along well with her canine foster siblings. She is well-behaved in the home, crate-trained, and does well with her housebreaking when taken out regularly. Roxie is spayed, current with vaccines, microchipped, and started on flea and heartworm prevention. Her adoption fee to the rescue is $375. She is in a foster home in Chicago and can be seen by appointment once an application has been submitted.
