**LUTHER HAS BEEN ADOPTED!** Gentle, kind, affectionate, easy-going, and mild-mannered are just a few terms to describe our newest rescue, lovable Luther. Pal's Place rescued Lou from an overburdened animal control facility in Kentucky. We do not know much about his past, but we know his future is bright. He is estimated to be just about a year old and weighs in at 40 pounds; an excellent medium size. His breed mix is unknown, and without a DNA test, we cannot know for sure, but it appears he has hound breeds and possibly Pointer in his family tree.
Luther is just the sweetest boy, and he loves making new human and canine friends. He has an incredibly docile, gentle, kind-hearted temperament. His demeanor is calm and easygoing, and we think he'll make an ideal family dog. Luther loves to go for walks, sun himself in the yard, and cuddle with his favorite humans. He is well-behaved in the home, crate-trained, and housebroken when kept on a regular schedule. He also does very well with other dogs. Luther is just about perfect, and we think he'll fit in easily with most households. Come and meet him today! Luther is in a foster home on Chicago's far southwest side and can be visited by appointment only after an adoption application has been completed and approved. His adoption fee to the rescue is $375. This fee helps to cover his neuter, initial vaccines, microchip, and heartworm testing. Unfortunately, we cannot place holds on our dogs for any reason. Please do not submit an adoption application unless you are ready to meet and welcome a dog into your home within three days of applying. • Luther's adoption fee is $375. This fee helps to cover any necessary medical care to prepare him for adoption. Pal's Place relies solely on adoption fees and donations to care for the animals in our rescue. Your donation also helps save other dogs like Luther from euthanasia.
