Name: Berko
Breed: Mixed
Age: one year old (DOB: Nov 25,2021)
Weight: 13kg
Gender: male
Health status: fully vaccinated + rabies shots, dewormed, spayed, and microchipped
Color: light brown
Meet Berko, a tale of resilience and the last chapter waiting to be written in a heartwarming story of hope and love. At just one year old, Berko stands as a testament to the strength of the canine spirit.
With his soft, light brown coat and soulful eyes, Berko is a picture of quiet beauty. He's not just a pretty face; he's fully vaccinated, spayed, microchipped, and dewormed, ensuring he's in the best of health and ready for his forever home.
Berko's personality is a delicate blend of timidity, shyness, and a deep protective nature. He may be reserved around strangers, but beneath that cautious exterior lies a heart full of loyalty and love. He's house-trained, a true gem when it comes to manners, eating slowly, and never competing with other dogs for food.
One of Berko's most cherished qualities is his ability to get along with everyone, whether they have fur or not. He forms gentle and harmonious bonds with other dogs, cats, and children, making him a beloved member of any family.
Berko's journey began on the challenging roads of Laiyishan District, Pingtung, Taiwan, where he and his littermates were abandoned. Thankfully, a guardian angel named Ai came to their rescue at the end of 2021. In February 2022, they were welcomed into the ARTT family. While Benta, Beatrix, Benton, and Belen have all found their forever homes, Berko is still waiting for his.
We're looking for experienced and patient adopters who can see the potential in Berko's unique story. He may be the last of his litter to find a home, but his loyalty and affection are worth the wait.
Don't let Berko's story remain incomplete. Be the one to give him the love and security he's been waiting for. Adopt Berko today and be a part of his journey to a forever home, where he'll shine as the unique and special pup he truly is. 🐾❤️

More about this rescue
We are a group of regular people living in Toronto, brought together by destiny under a mission to save displaced pet lives. Though the strength of one is limited, our combined courage makes it possible to guide these small friends through life’s difficulties. Let us treat their illnesses, restore their trust in humans, and foster sympathy in our communities.
Animals give their all for human beings. Over many years, we have seen dogs who sacrificed their lives for their owners. We have seen cats accompanying and comforting their depressed caretakers. If their owners pass away, these pets mourn the loss with genuine sorrow. They try their whole lives to love their owner and the people around them, remaining loyal even through abandonment. They show their love through actions, as they cannot use words to express themselves. To them, we humans are everything. Therefore, it is our duty to recognize and repay this devotion.
