Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi! My name is Hazel, and I am a sweet, spunky Shetland Sheepdog, you might know me as a Sheltie. I am 1 years old and I am learning lots of new things in my foster home. I have 5 K9 foster brother and sisters in different sizes. I also have 4 cat brother and sisters, and have no problems with any of them. After a week, I was one of the pack. I walk good on a leash but could be taught the proper way to heal. At first, I am a little shy in new places, but relying on my human, I acclimate well. My foster mommy describes me as a sweetie. I love to stick close to my human. I use my front paws a lot to express myself (that is a Sheltie) thing. Also, because I am a Sheltie, I am an excellent guard dog and will alert my human by barking with any strange noise. I was trained to go on a puppy pad, but my foster mommy is working with me to go outside. I am good with kids, but because they move so quick, I am shy at first. My foster mommy says I have a beautiful coat that needs brushing every so often. Hazel is up to date on all shots, heartworm negative, on heartworm preventative, microchipped, de-wormed, and spayed. Hazel’s adoption fee is $400.00. Out of state adopters are responsible for arranging transport. WE DO NOT SHIP DOGS. If you are interested in having Hazel be part of your family, please fill out an application on AAP’s website.
