Hello, I'm Yeolkong, a charming 4-year-old mixed-breed boy with a petite frame and an irresistibly cute face. Despite my size, I'm courageous and enjoy the company of even the biggest dogs. While I adore my doggy friends, my heart belongs to people—I'm a real people’s dog!
From the very first meeting, I'm open to pets and hugs, readily showing my affection. I'm polite when greeting friends, though I may not engage in play as often. I do experience a touch of jealousy around other dogs, making me envision a perfect life as the only fur child in a loving household.
My energy level falls between moderate to high, and I crave outdoor adventures to let loose. If you're an active individual who loves walking, hiking, and staying on the move, we're a match made in heaven!
During walks, I may pull a bit due to excitement, but I'm an attentive listener and follow your lead. New environments can be a tad overwhelming for me, and loud noises may prompt me to lie down to soothe myself.
Treats are my weakness, and when one is in sight, I'll sit quietly, patiently waiting. I'm generous and have no qualms about sharing; guarding resources is not my style. Communication is key—I know how to speak up when I want something.
I'm crate-trained and adapting to car rides, although I may need a little assistance getting in and out. Potty training is in progress, and once settled into a routine, outdoor potty will likely become my preference.
Currently cohabiting with several dog companions, my heart longs for a human family to shower me with love and, of course, many snacks. If you're ready to be that loving family, I'm more than ready to fill your life with joy and tail wags!

Chenny's Happy Tails Rescue Canada is a not-for-profit group(Corporate name: 12023318 CANADA FOUNDATION) registered in Canada, based in Toronto, Canada.
We are against the slaughter and consumption of dogs in Korea.
In Korea, there are many dogs that are kept in overcrowded cages in dog-meat facilities. They are sent to the market after being tortured to death. Although the consumption of dog meat is increasingly controversial and the vast majority of younger generations do not believe in dog meat, there are still many dogs that need to be rescued from farms and streets on which they have been abandoned/mistreated by humans.
We are committed to finding forever homes for dogs in Canada.
