Champ is a sweet old man looking for a place to call home. He is playful and loves tug ropes, but spends most of his day napping. He enjoys going for walks and meeting new people. Champ is very friendly! Champ is also super smart and knows commands like sit, stay, come, down, and shake. He is very food-motivated.

Champ doesn’t seem to mind the other dogs here at the shelter, but any potential furry friend would have to meet Champ first to see if its a good fit. He would likely prefer a dog similar in age, size, and temperament to him. Champ has not been cat-tested but can be on request. Champ would likely do best in a home without kitties and with older children who understand his needs.

Champ is 100% housebroken and has great leash manners. Our staff has noticed that he seems to be quite hard of hearing and likely is somewhat deaf. Champ is incredibly smart and his hearing issues don’t affect his life negatively.

Champ is up-to-date on vaccines, neutered, and microchipped.
