Willow is an incredibly playful, sweet, and well-tempered pup. She and her brother, Auggie, are very curious about their older foster fur-siblings and watch them intently as they learn how to “dog” and like to steal their White Claw squeaky toy.
While not fully house-trained yet, Willow is working on it with minimal accidents in the house as long as she’s taken outside after eating/drinking; That’s about the extent of her preferred outside time given the Texas heat lately. Willow actually gives walking on a leash a chance, walking a few feet before biting it and not giving up like her brother so far. She gets super excited to meet new people, but she’s also learning that jumping on/licking people is not the most polite way to express that.
During the day, Willow plays and naps in the playpen with her brother while her foster parent works from home. They love jumping into the toy basket and playing tug-o-war with ropes until they wear themselves out. When it’s treat time, Willow prefers a Bully Stick.
Willow has met children as young as 6 years old and was fantastic with them, but she has not encountered any cats. As for dogs, she loves the older, much larger dogs she lives with.
A yard somewhere cooler would be ideal for sweet Willow, along with a schedule as she works her way through his puppy stage. Whoever adopts Willow better be ready for lots of love and kisses because she’s got lots to go around!
